BASW marks Holocaust Memorial Day 2025

Holocaust Memorial Day is commemorated on 27th January.

This year's theme is ‘Learn for a Better Future.’ By learning both from and about the past, we can make a better future for all.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia.

On this day we #LightTheDarkness to remember all those who were murdered for who they were and to stand against prejudice and hatred today. Please light a candle and place safely in your window at 8pm.
