As part of BASW England's commitment to engage with politicians around social work, we created a manifesto with the six issues that we would be campaigning on over the coming year.

BASW has approached candidates across some of the Mayoral elections in England, to seek their views and vision for social work in their respective regions.
The guide was developed in collaboration with valued stakeholders including Women’s Aid, Galop, Southall Black Sisters, Sign Health, Karma Nirvana, Respect, AVA, Ann Craft Trust, Dr Michaela Rogers at the University of Sheffield, as well as people with lived experience and BASW members.
