The proposed new offences could result in Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities being subjected to continual eviction and potential prosecution.

Harry Venning and Emma Lewell-Buck will commence their roles as SWU Ambassadors on October 18th which is the day 10 years ago when SWU obtained our trade union licence. These individuals have embraced the spirit of SWU and will be involved with promoting SWU’s values and campaigns as determined by the executive committee.

John McGowan will serve a second term as general secretary, the most senior staff position within SWU.
