BASW continues to influence policy makers as its recent inquiry Social Workers and a New Mental Health Act was one of many key topics discussed last Thursday during a debate on the Mental Health Act 1983.
BASW will be writing to Prime Minister Boris Johnson to set out the key priorities for social work. The manifesto for social work details eight priorities in relation to social work, social workers and people using social work services.
