BASW is fundraising to to support homeless shelters across the UK by sharing festive wishes with a specially designed Clare in the Community eCard by Harry Venning.
It was clear that BASW has built some very important relationships within Europe which I see as contributing positively to the developing future and ongoing progression of Social Work.
BASW has been concerned that private companies would be carrying out interviews with those who were seeking asylum and were or claimed to be under 18, without appropriate expertise or staff.
Today’s reports suggesting a public sector pay freeze in next week’s Spending Review will comes as a disappointing blow for frontline staff, including social workers, who have been toiling to deliver vital services as the pandemic rages on.
