BASW England wrote to Lords ahead of Tuesday’s Second Reading with a briefing about the key issues within the Bill.

Nobody should accept derogatory language that seeks to locate the blame with the person currently in hospital - as if they are somehow responsible for another person having to wait.

The letter comes after the Government announced a national review into the case.
