BASW Cymru Practice Workshop: The meaningful recording of personal outcomes.
In this session we will explore what we mean by personal outcomes and some of the challenges and opportunities in recording them. We will also explore how we might use them as a catalyst for learning and practice development and how we maintain the voice of the person in our recording.
This session is FREE to BASW Cymru members however non-members may attend as a free taster session.
The session will be led by Nick Andrews. Nick is a registered Social Worker, with many years’ experience in social work, social care and social education across children and adult services. Since 2013, he has been working in the School of health and Social Care, Swansea University where he leads the Developing Evidence Enriched Practice (DEEP) programme. The aim of this programme of work is to build bridges between research and practice in social care, through collaborative approaches to research, policy and practice development. He works with a wide range of local authorities, other social care policy and practice organisations, academic institutions and community-based organisations.
