“Hearing from Practice: Real Talk”, a brand-new monthly series where frontline social workers share honest insights into their roles, challenges, and the moments that make it all worthwhile. As a social worker, regardless of your field, you’re likely to encounter individuals connected to the justice system: whether as parents, family members, or partners of the people you support. For these families, it’s important that their social worker understands the role and impact of justice social work. You may be curious about what it’s like to work in justice social work yourself.
